2006: A look back

Comments

I like this, and I'm going to do it too! :)

Also, happy belated birthday. It's funny what you write about the things people say when you turn 35 because I was admiring the picture you posted (the close-up) and was thinking, "Wow, Molly looks really good for 35!" You certainly seem to have less wrinkles than I do, as someone who's (almost) 35. But I agree, there's a perception that 35 is somehow starting to get old. I don't feel old!
In all fairness, that's not a recent picture! It was taken by Julian Supersnail in 1999 and I use it for everything because nothing quite as good has happened since. Meg, you look awesome, for almost 35 or any age. This reminds me that we'll have to get together after the new year to raise a glass. :)

I just got together with my grade school friends last week and when I looked around the table, I realized that none of us looked like my perception of 35. We all looked lively, good, young. Could it be the Minnesota roots? Or the outdoorsiness?
Ah, of course! My picture here is from 2003, so it's not that current either. But yes, we should connect in the new year, you're so close now and it's silly that we haven't hung out since you returned to the east coast! :)
And so it's an early resolution. Next time I'm in NYC (usually somewhere in your neighborhood, incidentally), we'll get together. I'm back in Connecticut on the 9th...
